Senior Airman Kyara Johnson is an F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team Weapons Specialist and a member of the 94th Aircraft Maintenance Unit. As a weapons specialist, she is responsible for all F-22 weapons systems, ammunition and maintenance. She represents the Air Combat Command, United States Air Force, and the Department of Defense at more than 20 air shows annually. By doing so, she ensures the demonstration pilot is equipped with a safe, reliable and effective F-22 Raptor to execute aerial maneuvers for more than 10 million spectators around the world each year.
Airman Johnson is from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and graduated from Chattanooga Central High School in 2011. On Dec. 8, 2012, she enlisted in the United Stated Air Force where she began her career as an F-22 Weapons Specialist. Airman Johnson plans on pursuing a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
