Advanced Command and Control Tactics exercised during Checkered Flag 22-1 and Weapon System Evaluation Program-East
An AN/TPS-75 long- range air surveillance radar used by the U.S. Air Force 81st Air Control Squadron, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, is deployed to a site along the Florida Gulf Coast to provide air domain awareness during Checkered Flag 22-1. Checkered Flag is a large-force aerial exercise held at Tyndall, which fosters readiness and interoperability through the incorporation of fourth- and fifth-generation aircraft during air-to-air combat training.
