AFE provides life-saving equipment for pilot readiness

U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Larry Lucas (left), 23rd Operation Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment superintendent and Staff Sgt. Matthew Plunkett, 23rd OSS parachute shop noncommissioned officer in charge, demonstrates the process of preparing to pack a parachute at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, April 5, 2022. This parachute would be used by A-10C Thunderbolt II pilots if they ever needed to eject from the aircraft. The colors of the parachute can assist the pilots in camouflaging or standing out depending on location and mission. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Deanna Muir)
