  • International, technical partnership continues to flourish

    Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization Preparatory Commission executive secretary, Dr. Lassina Zerbo, traveled from his headquarters in Vienna to meet with Air Force Technical Applications Center commander, Col. Chad Hartman, in Florida July 25 to discuss modernization of the National Data Center and how AFTAC’s support to the International Data Center is fundamental to their re-engineering efforts.
  • Joint training strengthens Air Force, Army collaboration

    Airmen and Soldiers practiced Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high yield explosives (CBRNE) training techniques and procedures Feb. 22, 2019, as part of a joint decontamination training event. The event was the conclusion of a four phase curriculum. Participants from the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron and the1st Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery regiment, 11th ADA Brigade, shared CBRNE best practices and tested their response proficiency during the training.
  • AFTAC personnel awarded Nuclear Deterrence Medal

    The Air Force Nuclear Enterprise Functional Authority has authorized personnel from the Air Force Technical Applications Center here the award of the Nuclear Deterrence Operations Service Medal effective April 13, 2016.
