Aerial Events

Air Force aerial events keep the public and military informed of U.S. preparedness, demonstrate modern weapons systems, promote good community and international relations, support Air Force recruiting and retention efforts and render military honors. The ACC Aerial Events Branch is responsible for scheduling the public display of ACC aircraft, specifically, the six Single-Ship Demonstration Teams, and the B-2 . We also coordinate static display and flyover support of other ACC aircraft to air shows worldwide. In addition, we manage the Heritage Flight program, which consists of vintage World War II, Korean and Vietnam War-era aircraft flying in close formation with the ACC Single-Ship Demonstration Teams at air shows.ACC Aerial Events (ACC/A3TA) is responsible for scheduling the public display of ACC aircraft, most notably the six single-ship Demonstration Teams and the B-2.  In addition, we manage the Heritage Flight program.  We also coordinate static display and flyover support of ACC aircraft to air shows and other public events in the US and abroad.  Finally, we manage the Aerial Control Teams that coordinate and execute flyovers in the National Capital Region.

A-10 East                      A-10 West               F-15E Strike Eagle  
Viper (F-16) East         Viper West             F-22 Raptor

tabHeritage Flight Program  
The USAF Heritage Flight (HF) program was established in 1997 to commemorate the Air Force's 50th anniversary. It involves today's state-of-the-art fighters flying in close formation with World War II, Korean and Vietnam era fighters such as the P-51 Mustang and the F-86 Sabre.
