· The normal aerial event season runs from mid-February through mid-November. Training and certification schedules hinder support from December through February.
· The ACC Aerial Events office schedules the ACC F-22 Demonstration Team for aircraft demonstrations and Heritage Flights.  In addition, the office also schedules the A-10, F-4, and F-16 for Heritage Flights.
· The Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation schedules all civilian warbirds (A-1, A-36, P-38, P-40, P-47, P-51, and F-86) for Heritage Flights.  A Request Form for the Heritage Flight performance is located at http://www.airforceheritageflight.org/schedule.
· Requests for ACC aircraft static displays or flyovers should be sent to individual flying units.  Hint: Use the "Find an Aircraft" icon on the SAF/PA web site.
· Event Sponsors - please run the Event Sponsors checklist.

· Participating ACC Units - please run the ACC Unit checklist.

Event Scheduling

· The scheduling process begins by the event sponsor obtaining event approval from the Secretary of the Air Force for Public Affairs (SAF/PA) website. This is accomplished by submission of a DD Form 2535 to SAF/PA (obtained on the SAF/PA website).
· The event seeking approval must have aerial significance and be at no cost to the government. Events on DoD facilities are not required to submit a DD Form 2535 but are encouraged to do so as it increases AF unit awareness of your event.
· Once approved by SAF/PA the event is eligible for support; however, this does not guarantee support. A flying unit must be approved by ACC to support your event.
 

· Requests for the ACC F-22 Demonstration Team and Heritage Flights must be received by ACC Aerial Events no later than (NLT) the following dates:
 

o NLT December 15th of the previous year:

 Requests for the ACC F-22 demonstration team for any events all year
 Requests for all Heritage Flights for events held from February through June

 

o NLT December 31st of the previous year:

 Requests for all Heritage Flights for events held July through November.
 

· ACC Aerial Events will notify you (the requester) if your event will be supported. Schedules should be completed and approved NLT:

o January 10th for events planned in January or February.
o January 31st for the F-22 demonstration team for events planned for the entire year.
o February 15th for events planned from March through June.
o March 31st for events planned from July through November.
