Two types of approval are required: event approval and participation approval. Public Affairs is responsible for event approval - this is where the Air Force determines whether an event warrants Air Force participation. ACC Aerial Events is responsible for participation approval - this is where the proper coordination takes place approving ACC aircraft from a specific unit to participate.
