ACC: Helping Haiti
Thousands of Airmen are supporting the Haiti relief effort. Nearly 500 Airmen are on the ground in Haiti supporting all aspects of the mission, including humanitarian assistance disaster relief, airfield operations, medical response and security. Additionally, the Air Force is orchestrating a robust military and commercial effort to update maps and locate areas of greatest distress by using intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance assets, such as Air Combat Command's RQ-4 Global Hawk, Open Skies OC-135B Observation Aircraft and RQ-1 Predator.
