7/18/2012 - An A-10C Thunderbolt II sits on the ramp July 16, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., prior to a mission for Red Flag 12-4, an air combat training exercise that takes place in and around the Nevada . The exercise takes primarily in and around the Nevada Test and Training Range, where A-10s will deliver MK-82s, AGM-65s, BDU-33s, chaff and flare, and rockets, in addition to firing the 30 mm GAU-8/A seven-barrel Gatling gun.
