ACC announces Outstanding Airmen of the Year Published March 27, 2013 Air Combat Command Public Affairs LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- Air Combat Command announced the 2013 Outstanding Airmen of the Year winners during a spring leadership conference at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., March 26. "ACC's Outstanding Airmen of the Year represent superb Airmen doing great work," said Gen. Mike Hostage, commander of ACC. "They represent the leading edge and high quality work of all our Airmen." Hostage however wasn't alone in offering praise; sentiment echoed from the ACC command chief's office as well. "Congratulations to all our OAY winners and their families," said Chief Master Sgt. Richard Parsons, ACC command chief. "Due to your individual efforts and sacrifices you have been selected to represent an amazing team of ACC Airmen who provide operational combat power which ensures America of her freedoms."
