Dr. Janet S. Fender, Chief Scientist and Science Advisor to the Commander of Air Combat Command, received the U.S. Presidential Distinguished Rank Award in recognition of her long-term accomplishments and exceptional service to the American people. Bestowed upon only the top 1% of federal senior executives, this award represents the pinnacle of achievement in the career federal executive service. Her award was presented by the Honorable Deborah Lee James, Secretary of the Air Force.
Master Sgt. Robert J. Shuman, 49th Civil Engineering Squadron, Holloman Air Force Base, NM, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Logistics Section Chief (3E871) is Air Combat Command's 2016 Senior NCO of the Year. He will will represent ACC at the Air Force level.
SSgt Jay Hamann, 355 Force Support Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., is Air Combat Command's 2016 Honor Guard Member of the Year. He will represent ACC at the Air Force level.
Tech. Sgt. Keayana Minus, 12 Airborne Command and Control Squadron, Robins AFB, GA Aviation Resource Manager NCOIC (1C072), is Air Combat Command's, 2016 Outstanding Non-commissioned Officer of the Year. She will represent ACC at the Air Force level.
Master Sgt. Troy Agustin, 355 Force Support Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., is Air Combat Command's 2016 Honor Guard Manager of the Year. He will represent the ACC at the Air Force level.
Master Sgt. Christopher Jachimiec, First Sergeant (8F000) 57 Aircraft Maintenence Squadron, Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., was selected as the Air Combat Command 2016 First Sergeant of the Year. He will represent ACC at the Air Force level.
Staff Sgt. Jamie K. Zimmer, 347th Operations Support Squadron, Moody AFB, Ga., Intelligence Analyst (1N051) is Air Combat Command's 2016 Outstanding Airmen of the Year. She will represent ACC at the Air Force level.
