Senior Airman Brennen DeFazio is an F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team Avionics Specialist and a member of the 27th Aircraft Maintenance Unit. As a specialist, he is responsible for all F-22 on board computers, avionics, weapons system, and the cooling and environmental system. He represents the Air Combat Command, United States Air Force, and the Department of Defense at more than 20 air shows annually. By doing so, he ensures the demonstration pilot is equipped with a safe, reliable and effective F-22 Raptor to execute aerial maneuvers for more than 10 million spectators around the world each year.
Airman DeFazio is from Erie, Pennsylvania, and graduated high school in 2005 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On April 20, 2010, he enlisted in the United Stated Air Force where he began his career as an F-22 Avionics Specialist. Airman DeFazio graduated technical training at the top of his class, receiving the Ace award. He has been married for three years and enjoys spending his time outdoors hiking or fishing. Airman DeFazio plans on pursuing a bachelor's degree in aeronautics.
