Paying respects to former president Ford

The 42-member Marine Air Ground Combat Center Band, from Twentynine Palms, California, rehearses "Ruffles and Flourishes" Dec. 29 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Palm Desert, California, prior to the arrival of the former President Gerald R. Ford's remains. More than 500 military members are in Palm Desert supporting the California portion of the State Funeral for former president. The military is providing ceremonial, logistics, and security support to honor and pay tribute to the former Commander-in-Chief and the Ford family.
