SUBJECT: 2024 CAF WEPTAC 120-Day Message
1. This message covers the 2024 CAF WEPTAC and C2 Summit. HQ ACC/A3 will host the 2024 CAF WEPTAC 2-12 January 2024 at Nellis AFB, NV. COMACC will host the C2 Summit 8-9 January and the WEPTAC and C2 Summit Out-briefs 10-12 January. WEPTAC facilitates working groups for Joint and Coalition experts to produce warfighter driven solutions to tactical problems. 2. Working Groups. CAF WEPTAC will host four types of Working Groups: Major Weapons System Working Groups (MWS WG), Mission Focused Working Groups (MFWG), Functional Working Groups (FWG), and Weapons & Tactics Focus Groups (W&TFG). Working group participation is by invite only and must be approved by the working group chairs. 3. Out-briefs (10-12 January). The out-briefs on 10 and 11 January are open to all registered conference participants. The Key WEPTAC stakeholder’s out-brief on 12 January will be by COMACC invite only.
4. Conference Participation & Registration. WEPTAC Participation is unit-funded. Travel for chairmen will be funded by HQ ACC. Registration for WEPTAC opens 1 Oct and closes on 8 Dec. WEPTAC participants must register online during this period.
5. C2 Summit (8-9 January) and Executive Out-brief (10 January). The C2 Summit will be hosted by COMACC during WEPTAC. Further information will be provided in a separate C2 Summit 120-Day message which will be released by 8 September 2023.
