Fiscal year 2014 has arrived and due to the lack of an approved budget all Military Tuition Assistance for classes starting on or after Oct. 1, 2013 has been suspended until further notice.

Effective immediately, Airmen will not have the ability to apply for MilTA on the Air Force Virtual Education Center until a budget resolution has been approved.

Airmen that have an approved MilTA for fiscal year 2014 may incur a financial responsibility with their school if there is no budget resolution or if the resolution is not retroactive to Oct. 1. Students are advised to withdraw from their courses or look into using other financial resources, such as the Montgomery GI Bill or the Post 9/11 GI Bill.

Please continue to monitor the AFVEC for updates regarding MilTA.
