F-15C, F-35A squadrons working side-by-side
Two F-35As and two F-15Cs wait at the end of the runway at RAF Lakenheath prior to a training sortie. F-35A pilots from the 34th Fighter Squadron and F-15C pilots from the 493rd Fighter Squadron trained together during the first F-35A overseas deployment. While in Europe, the F-35A will also train with units from the U.S. Air Force, Royal air force and air forces from other NATO allies. (U.S. Air Force photo/Micah Garbarino)
