From "Lost Boy" to Airman
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Francis Andrew explains the unlikely path that led him to enlistment into the New York Air National Guard, from war-torn Sudan at the age of seven followed by a series of refugee camps to U.S. Citizenship 14 years later. Today he tells his story while deployed to the Middle East with the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing in hopes that others will find hope for a brighter future. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech.
