    Tyndall aircrew flight equipment shop named best in Air Combat Command

    Keeping pilots safe during flight operations is the responsibility of a dedicated and efficient aircrew flight equipment shop, and being skilled enough to earn best in Air Combat Command is no small feat. Tyndall’s AFE shop earned the 2016 ACC Outstanding AFE Large Program of the Year Award and the 2016 ACC Outstanding AFE Officer of the Year Award.

    355th SFS: a day in the life of a defender

    The 355th Security Forces Squadron mission is to protect, defend and fight to enable Air Force, joint and coalition mission success. Security Forces members are responsible for ensuring the safety of base weapons, property and personnel from hostile forces. The 355th SFS consists of over 300 military and civilian personnel.

    Guardian Angel Combat Leaders Course put into action

    It takes countless years of career field education, multiple deployments and temporary duty assignments to become a pararescue team leader. The 68th Rescue Flight executed a 65-day course for ten pararescuemen in a newly-designed course to develop their leadership abilities while obtaining their 7-level certification for their dynamic career field.
