Colonel JESSE S. DOYLE

Colonel Jesse Doyle is Director of Safety at Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He is responsible for implementing the command’s flight, occupational, and weapons safety mishap prevention programs designed to preserve combat capability by providing guidance and directives to all ACC subordinate units (NAFs, center, wings and squadrons). He advises the ACC commander and staff on mishap trends, problem areas, and command-level initiatives. In addition, he provides direction, guidance, and assistance to all of the command’s safety investigations. 

Col. Doyle received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Florida, with a degree in Business Administration. He attended Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. He is a graduate of Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College, and Air War College. 

Col. Doyle has served as an instructor pilot in both Air Education and Training Command and United States Air Forces in Europe, commanded at the squadron level, and served on the staff of Air Combat Command. He is a command pilot with over 3,850 flying hours in the T-37 and F-16, including 812 combat hours in Operations ODYSSEY DAWN, ENDURING FREEDOM, and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL.
