Chief Master Sergeant Jeremy L. Unterseher is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. He advises the commander and staff on matters influencing the health, welfare, morale and effective utilization of all assigned personnel.
The command operates more than 1,600 aircraft, 35 wings and 12 bases with 155,205 total force military and civilian personnel. As the lead major command for Combat Air Forces, ACC develops strategy, doctrine, concepts, tactics and procedures for air, space and cyber-power employment. The command provides conventional and information warfare forces to all unified commands to ensure air, space, cyber and information superiority for warfighters and national decision-makers. The command also stands ready to assist national agencies with intelligence, surveillance and crisis response capabilities.
Chief Unterseher entered the Air Force in August of 1995 and graduated from Navy School Explosive Ordnance Disposal. His background includes various duties in the Explosive Ordnance career field at unit, MAJCOM, and HAF levels. His assignments have stretched across all theaters of operation to include deployments in support of Operations Southern Watch, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Resolute Support, and Atlantic Resolve.
