Colonel Brett Landry

Colonel Brett Landry is the is the Staff Judge Advocate for Headquarters, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He is the principal legal adviser to the ACC Commander and headquarters staff on all legal issues involving military justice, operational and international law, and civil law. Colonel Landry provides professional guidance to over 600 active duty, reserve, and civilian attorneys and paralegals within ACC. His office establishes legal and policy oversight for 21 legal offices, providing legal services to over 157,000 active duty, reserve, and civilian personnel and their eligible dependents.

Colonel Landry was born in Belle Chasse, LA. During law school, Colonel Landry clerked for two years with the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Louisiana. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in October, 2004 and was commissioned by direct appointment that same month. Colonel Landry has previously served as the Deputy Lead Special Trial.

Counsel for the Department of the Air Force, the Chief of the Air Force's Trial Defense Division, as a Military Trial Judge, as the SJA for the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth AFB, SD, and as a deployed deputy SJA for the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Colonel Landry and his wife, Natasha, have twin daughters, Julianne and Alexandra.
