MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho – Senior Airman Luis Porras Vargas, 366th Fighter Wing noncommissioned officer in charge of honor guard, poses for a photo March 22. Since May of 1948, the United States Air Force Honor Guard has represented all Airmen to the American public and the world. In order for the base honor guard program to function properly, a minimum of 35 people is required. Due to current deployments and temporary duty assignments the base honor guard has 23 available members. Applications to join the base honor guard can be picked up from your first sergeant.
