AL UDEID AIR BASE, Qatar -- Service members and military families attend a holiday kick-off event Dec. 1, 2018, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. Attendees were able to play holiday games, watch live music performances, interact with Santa Claus and watch a tree lighting ceremony, during a holiday kick-off event.

Bringing a spirit of home, children of members assigned to Al Udeid were included and interacted with deployed service members.
Senior Airman Guy James, U.S. Air Forces Central Command Band guitarist, and Staff Sgt. Bryan Andrews, AFCENT Band bassist, played holiday songs while Senior Airman Alycia Cancel, a band vocalist sang holiday songs.
