Wounded Warriors from Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, arrived in Las Vegas, Nev., for a "Salute our Troops" stay at the Palazzo Hotel May 16. They arrived to applause from a group of Nellis Air Force Base Airmen and members of the public who assembled to greet them. During a welcome ceremony, Sheldon Adelson, owner of the Palazzo Hotel, and his wife Miriam Ochshorn thanked wounded veterans for their service. The resort treated these troops and their spouses to a weekend stay with VIP treatment in recognition of their sacrifices.
