Air Combat Command

A brush fire lights up the evening sky behind an F-15SG assigned to the Republic of Singapore air force at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, Aug. 15, 2011. Flightline activity, to include all flying operations, were stopped and personal evacuated from flightline buildings as the fire approached the base. A building containing navigation equipment on the airfield may have sustained some minor damage. No other damage was reported.
