North Carolina's Duplin County Sheriff's department provided the 4th Security Forces Squadron with hands on training and shared lessons learned from actual responses of their Special Weapons and Tactics Team. This was the first time the 4th Security Forces Squadron and Duplin County Sheriff's department trained together. The teams trained on tasks indeadly entry positions, tactical and dynamic entry methods, communication during high risk situations and room clearing techniques.

Through training they are able to practice with entry tools and technique improvements. The specialty entry tools used was halogen entry tool, battering ram and standard weaponry.

This typed of joint training helps ensure the teams are able to effectively respond to high threat scenarios. It also enhances the team's ability to work seamlessly together in high threat situations.
