SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The 4th Component Maintenance Squadron provides equipment maintenance support for more than 90 F-15E and more than 20 F-15C Strike Eagle aircraft from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., and Langley Air Force Base, Va. Airmen from the 4th CMS perform maintenance on avionics, electronic weapons, egress, pneudraulics, electro-environmental and fuel systems to support worldwide peacetime and contingency operations. The squadron received a $271 million budget for repair and facilities during fiscal year 2009. The 4th CMS contains three sections jet engine intermediate maintenance, modular repair and secondary power.
