General Fraser visits Minot Warbirds

MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Gen. William M. Fraser III, commander of Air Combat Command, visited Minot Nov. 16 and 17 to thank everyone for their hard work and to re-emphasize the criticality of the mission. The general's visit came during a time when the base continues its transition to Air Force Global Strike Command. The new major command will gain the 91st Missile Wing, Dec. 1, and the 5th Bomb Wing, Feb. 1. The standup of the new command is one of the ways the Air Force continues to revitalize the nuclear enterprise.
