New Tricare website enhances flexibility

LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. (ACCNS) --  Tricare now offers a new Web service that allows Prime and Remote beneficiaries to submit applications on line. 

The Web site, which went online Nov. 5, makes it unnecessary for beneficiaries to mail in or hand-carry applications to Tricare service centers. 

The Beneficiary Web Enrollment program allows beneficiaries to enroll, disenroll, change primary care managers, change addresses and make other changes previously requiring them to visit their local Tricare office. 

The BWE, located at https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/appj/bwe/, requires users to log in with a Common Access Card, myPay PIN or Family Member PIN.
