The 366th Civil Engineer Squadron has been awarded nine 2006 Air Combat Command Civil Engineer Awards.

They received the outstanding civil engineer small unit award, two flight awards and four individual awards. They were also runner ups for one flight and two individual awards.

According to the 366th Mission Support Group commander, the 366th CES was recognized with more Command-level awards - individual, flight and squadron awards - in ACC than any other CE squadron.

"The performance, achievements and professionalism of the 366th Civil Engineer Team is simply outstanding," said Col. Thomas Laffey.  "They provide 'world class' mission support to our Gunfighter Team and to the entire Air Force mission - both here at Mountain Home and at all deployed locations in the area of responsibility."

The squadron commander, Lt. Col. Timothy Wood, said it was an incredibly pleasant surprise to discover the Raging Bulls were selected for so many awards.

Awards won are:

-The Society of American Military Engineers - Robert H. Curtin Award- Outstanding Civil Engineer Unit - Small

-General Thomas D. White Air Force Environmental Awards - Air Force Environmental Pollution Prevention Award-Non-Industrial

-Air Force Cultural Resources Management Award-Installation

The 366th CES housing flight was the runner up for the Brigadier General Michael A. McAuliffe Award (Outstanding Housing Flight).

"These awards would not have been possible without tremendous teamwork both within CES and throughout the base," said Nathan Rowland, 366th deputy civil engineer. "I am constantly impressed by the way people here at Mountain Home Air Force Base support each other."
