LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. (ACCNS) --  The president has nominated to the Senate Lt. Gen. William M. Fraser III, Air Combat Command vice commander, Langley AFB, Va., for reappointment to the Chairman of The Joint Chiefs of Staff assistant, Pentagon, Washington D.C. 

The following are senior officers in Air Combat Command who are scheduled for retirement: 

Brig. Gen. Russell J. Kilpatrick, ACC command surgeon, Langley AFB, Va.

Col. Bruce B. Heinlein, 67th Information Operations Group commander, Lackland AFB, Texas

The following are senior officers in Air Combat Command who have been selected for assignments: 

Maj. Gen. Kenneth M. Decuir, ACC Air and Space Operations director, Langley AFB, Va., will become ACC vice commander, Langley AFB, Va.

Maj. Gen. Roy M. Worden, Air Force Operational Plans and Joint Matters director; Air, Space And Information Operations deputy chief of staff, Pentagon, Washington D.C., will become ACC Air and Space Operations director, Langley AFB, Va.

Brig. Gen. Frank Gorenc, 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing commander, Balad Air Base, Iraq, will become Air Force Operational Plans and Joint Matters director; Air, Space And Information Operations deputy chief of staff, Pentagon, Washington D.C.

Brig. Gen. Douglas L. Raaberg, U.S. Central Command Operations deputy director, Macdill AFB, Fla., will become ACC Plans and Programs director, Langley AFB, Va.

Brig. Gen. Thomas W. Travis, 89th Medical Group commander, Air Mobility Command, Andrews AFB, Md., will become ACC command surgeon, Langley AFB, Va.

Brig. Gen. Stanley T. Kresge, 379th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, Southwest Asia, will become U.S. Northern Command Policy and Planning deputy director, Peterson AFB, Colo.

Col. Charles K. Shugg, 366th Fighter Wing commander, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, will become 379th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, Southwest Asia

Col. Bradford J. Shwedo, Central Intelligence Agency executive assistant to the deputy director, Washington D.C., will become 67th Information Operations Group commander, Lackland AFB, Texas.

Col. Anthony J. Rock, ACC Requirements deputy director, Langley AFB, Va., will become 366th Fighter Wing commander, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.

Col. Garrett Harencak, 7th Bomb Wing commander, Dyess AFB, Texas, will become ACC Requirements deputy director, Langley AFB, Va.

Col. Timothy M. Ray, 5th Bomb Wing vice commander, Minot AFB, N.D., will become 7th Bomb Wing commander, Dyess AFB, Texas
