LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. (ACCNS) --  The following are senior officers in Air Combat Command who are scheduled to retire:

Col. David J. Goossens, ACC Comptroller, Langley AFB, Va.

Col. Franklin T. Ragland, 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Group commander, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar

The following are senior officers in Air Combat Command who have been selected for assignments:

Col. Michael E. Phelps, Air Mobility Command Budget Division chief, Scott AFB, Ill., will become ACC Comptroller, Langley AFB, Va.

Col. Christian G. Geisel, Secretary of the Air Force deputy director, Pentagon, Washington D.C., will become ACC Public Affairs director, Langley AFB, Va.

Col. Michael W. Arnold, 49th Material Maintenance Group commander, Holloman AFB, N.M., will become 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Group commander, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

Col. William F. Goad, Defense Supply Center chief of staff, Columbus, Ohio, will become, 49th Material Maintenance Group commander, Holloman AFB, N.M.

Col. John W. Lent, 5th Combat Communications Group commander, Robins AFB, Ga., will become ACC Combat and Base Systems Division chief, Langley AFB, Va.

Col. Carl H. Block, U.S. Forces in Korea Knowledge Operations and Initiatives Division chief, Yongsan, Korea, will become 5th Combat Communications Group commander, Robins AFB, Ga.

Col. Stephen C. Fairbairn, 53rd Test Management Group commander, Eglin AFB, Fla., will become Single Integrated Air Picture Joint Program Office Director, Pentagon, Washington D.C.

Col. Thomas A Berghoff, Joint Fires Center of Excellence commander, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, will become 53rd Test Management Group commander, Eglin AFB, Fla.

Col. Michael W. Isherwood, 355th Wing vice commander, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., will become Air Force, Force Application Division chief, Pentagon, Washington D.C.
