LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. (ACCNS) --  The following announcement is a list of the latest senior officer retirements:

Col. Nancy E. Frye, 552nd Maintenance Group commander, Tinker AFB, Okla.

Col. Kevin E. Rumsey, 1st Mission Support Group commander, Langley AFB, Va.


The following announcement is a list of the latest senior officer assignments: 

Col. Robert E. Broderick, 366th Fighter Wing vice commander, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, will become Air Force Doctrine Center vice commander, Maxwell AFB, Ala.

Col. Christopher R. Chambliss, 8th Fighter Wing vice commander, Kunsan Air Base, Korea, will become 366th Fighter Wing vice commander, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.

Col. Preston B. Thompson, Air Combat Command deputy director of safety and chief of flight safety, Langley AFB, Va., will become 8th Fighter Wing vice commander, Kunsan Air Base, Korea.

Lt. Col. Kelly E. Fletcher, Air War College student, Maxwell AFB, Ala., will become Air Combat Command deputy director of safety and chief of flight safety, Langley AFB, Va.

Col. Gregory A. Kern, 9th Operations Group commander, Beale AFB, Calif., will become 380th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates.

Col. Jon L. Engle, Reconnaissance Operations Division chief, Pentagon, Washington D.C., will become 9th Operations Group commander, Beale AFB, Calif.

Col. Michael A. Canna, 608th Air Intelligence Squadron commander, Barksdale AFB, La., will become 607th Air Intelligence Group commander, Osan Air Base, Korea

Col. Keith D. Frede, 60th Maintenance Group commander, Travis AFB, Calif., will become 552d Maintenance Group commander, Tinker AFB, Okla.

Col. Lee O. Wyatt, Air Combat Command Combat Support Division chief, Langley AFB, Va., will become 374th Mission Support Group commander, Yokota Air Base, Japan.

Col. William D. Sellers, 99th Security Forces Group commander, Nellis AFB, Nev., will become

Col. Gerald D. Curry, 34th Training Group Cadet Group 1 commander, Air Force Academy, Colo., will become 99th Security Forces Group commander, Nellis AFB, Nev.

Col. Brian D. Yolitz, Joint Staff Joint and Contingency Construction Programs chief, Pentagon, Washington D.C., will become 1st Mission Support Group commander, Langley AFB, Va.

Brig. Gen. Kurt A. Cichowski, 49th Fighter Wing commander, Holloman AFB, N.M., will become U.S. Central Command Strategy, Plans and Assessment, Multi-National Force deputy chief of staff, Baghdad, Iraq.
