ACC announces senior officer assignments

ACC announced today the following senior officer assignments:

-Brig. Gen. John D. Posner, 27th Fighter Wing commander, Cannon AFB, N.M. will become deputy director of operations at the National Military Command Center, Pentagon, Washington D.C. 

- Col. Scott D. West, 52nd Fighter Wing vice commander, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, will become 27th Fighter Wing commander, Cannon AFB, N.M. 

- Col. Walter D. Givhan, 99th Air Base Wing commander, Nellis AFB, Nev., will become combat forces division chief at Air Force Headquarters, Pentagon, Washington D.C. 

- Col. Michael L. Bartley, 35th Fighter Wing vice commander, Misawa AFB, Japan, will become 99th Air Base Wing commander, Nellis AFB, Nev. 

- Col. Joel E. Malone, 20th Operations Group commander, Shaw AFB, S.C., will become, 35th Fighter Wing vice commander, Misawa AFB, Japan. 

- Lt. Col. John C. Colombo, 80th Operations Group deputy commander, Sheppard AFB, Texas, will become 20th Operations Group commander, Shaw AFB, S.C. 

- Col. David A. Crockett, 28th Bomb Wing vice commander, Ellsworth AFB, S.D., will become Defense Attache/Air Attache for Oman Designee, Washington D.C.

- Col. Bruce C. Emig, Global Strike Concept of Operations champion, Air and Space Operations Headquarters Pentagon, Washington, D.C., will become 28th Bomb Wing vice commander, Ellsworth AFB, S.D.
