LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. (ACCNS) -- Gen. Hal M. Hornburg, commander of Air Combat Command, has announced ACC's top Airmen, who will compete for honors as the 2004 Air Force Twelve Outstanding Airmen and First Sergeant of the Year.
The nominees were announced during an April 15 banquet here honoring the 24 Airmen from Headquarters ACC, the Air Intelligence Agency, the Air Warfare Center, and 8th, 9th and 12th Air Forces who competed at the major command level.
Chief Master Sgt. Rodney E. Ellison, ACC command chief, and a board of command chiefs from the AIA, AWFC, and the numbered air forces selected one person from six nominees in each category to represent ACC in the Air Force-level competition.
