Rogow, 366th Fighter Wing, Mountain Home AFB, IdahoChief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Ground Safety, Category II: 366th Fighter WingChief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Ground Safety, Category III: 33rd Fighter Wing, Eglin AFB, Fla.Chief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Ground Safety, Category IV: 819th Red Horse Squadron, Malmstrom AFB, Mont.Chief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Ground Safety, Category V: 3rd Combat Communications Group, Tinker AFB, Okla.In addition to the awards, several units were recognized with plaques for their efforts in promoting and achieving safety in their operations.Flight Safety Plaques for outstanding mishap prevention went to the 552nd Air Control Wing, Tinker AFB, Okla.; 1st Fighter Wing, Langley AFB, Va.; 9th Reconnaissance Wing, Beale AFB, Calif.; 33rd Fighter Wing; 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman AFB, Mo.; 49th Test and Evaluation Squadron, Barksdale AFB, La.; and the 43rd Electronic Combat Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz.Missile Safety Plaques for outstanding achievement and contribution to missile safety went to the 33rd Fighter Wing and the 83rd Fighter Weapons Squadron, Tyndall AFB, Fla.Explosives Safety Plaques for outstanding achievements or contribution to explosives safety went to the 23rd Fighter Group, Pope AFB, N.C., and the 355th Civil Engineer Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz.A Nuclear Surety Plaque for outstanding achievements or contributions to the Air Force nuclear weapon system and nuclear power programs went to the 2nd Bomb Wing, Barksdale AFB, La.An Aero Club Safety Certificate went to the Aero Club at Barksdale AFB.
