Command names Air Force Scientist and Engineer Awards Published June 28, 2005 LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. (ACCNS) -- Three Air Combat Command nominees were among the winners for the 2004 Air Force Scientist and Engineer Awards. The annual Air Force Scientist and Engineer Awards recognize significant accomplishments in science, engineering, research and development, and science and engineering education in support of the Air Force mission. ACC announced June 28 those who garnered Air Force recognition. Maj. Kent R. Montgomery, Capt. Brian M. Lightfoot, 1st Lt. Sean P. Moravek, 1st Lt. Matthew D. Shike, 1st Lt. Evan A. James, 1st Lt. Gerald D. Fensterer, 1st Lt. Brian A. Wilken, 2nd Lt. Olegario Reynoso, Tech. Sgt. Sean M. Cook from the F/A-22 Operational Analysis Team, Det. 1/31st Test and Evaluation Squadron, Kirtland AFB, N.M., won the Outstanding Scientist Team Award.Lt. Col. Carley J. Hugghins from the 70th Intelligence Wing, Fort Meade, Md., won the Outstanding Engineer Senior Military Award.Capt. Brian A. Denaro from the 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron, Edwards AFB, Calif., won the Outstanding Engineer Junior Military Award.
