Holloman's Commander and Command Chief go hands-on in the lab
Col. Robert Kiebler, the 49th Wing commander, feels for a vein on Col. Paul Willingham, the 49th Medical Group commander, in order to draw blood under the direction of Senior Airman Mason Livermore, 49th Medical Group medical laboratory technician, at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Aug. 19. Every week the wing commander and the wing command chief make a face-to-face and hands-on visit to different parts of the base to get to know airmen and learn about their contribution to the mission. This week’s trip to the 49th Medical Group was focused on the medical laboratory where they learned about phlebotomy, urinalysis, hematology and chemistry.
