Holloman Celebrates Thanksgiving

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE N.M. -- It's that time of the year again! The smell of turkey and pumpkin pie fills the air, and the rush for Black Friday begins. Planes are taking off and landing delivering thousands of military members to their families and friends back home, but that's not true for everyone.

Many military members could not make it home for Thanksgiving. But Holloman, and its senior leadership, are making sure these Airmen enjoy a traditional meal with Turkey and all the trimmings. Every year the Shifting Sands Dining Facility supports the Airmen of Team Holloman, their dependents and retired members with a large Thanksgiving meal to ensure everyone has a happy holiday.
