Singapore air force 428th FS participates in first Nellis Red Flag
Republic of Singapore air force’s 428th Fighter Squadron’s flagship F-15SG aircraft assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, takes off for a Red Flag 14-3 training mission, July 18, 2014 at Nellis AFB, Nev. The 428th FS aircrews and support members are participating in their first Red Flag at Nellis AFB. The 428th FS "Buccaneers" is the U.S. flagged flying squadron of the Peace Carvin V program, a long-term partnership with the Republic of Singapore. The squadron is dedicated to the training of Singaporean aircrew in the F-15SG, the country's newest fighter platform. The combined efforts of this program help ensure a strong U.S. relationship with Singapore, a critical partner in the region, while helping Singapore project airpower into the next generation.
