ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The command team with Air Combat Command visited Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, May 5 and 6.
U.S. Air Force Gen. Mark Kelly, ACC commander, and Command Chief David Wade, made the trip to Robins to receive various updates on the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System program with the 461st and 116th Air Control Wings, and the 138th Military Intelligence Company. They also took time to visit the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex to tour the F-15 aircraft area of the depot. The team also received a tour of the 53rd Air Traffic Control Squadron, which included equipment demonstrations.
While at Robins, the command team took time to interact with Team JSTARS Airmen and Soldiers. Kelly held an All Call where he spoke on the direction of the ACC, the importance of the JSTARS mission, and fielded questions from the Airmen and Soldiers. Kelly and Wade were updated on the latest innovation efforts with the 461st and 116th ACW and met with Airmen responsible for the 461st ACW resiliency efforts.
