AIR FORCE RESCUE CENTER REACHES MILESTONE OF 20,000 LIVES SAVED
Senior Airman Mariah Dotson, Air Force Rescue Coordination Center search and rescue controller, coordinates with external agencies regarding the activation of an emergency beacon on Jun. 10, 2025. AFRCC recently marked a significant milestone, surpassing 20,000 lives saved on May 28, 2025, during the rescue of two stranded hikers in Boise County, Idaho. Royal Australian Air Force and U.S. Air Force members participate in exercise Bamboo Eagle 25-1 at the 705th Combat Training Squadron’s Distributed Mission Operations Center, on Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., Feb. 11, 2025.
