USAFWC

The United States Air Force Warfare Center, located at Nellis Air Force Base, was founded Sept. 1, 1966, as the U.S. Air Force Tactical Fighter Weapons Center. It was later renamed the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center in October 2005. The mission of the USAFWC is developing cross-domain leaders and capabilities through operational testing, tactics development and advanced training in air, space and cyberspace at the tactical and operational levels of war.
