Inappropriate handling of personally identifiable information could lead to a locked AFNET account. These new actions are in addition to, and do not circumvent or replace, the normal Privacy Act notification process which is already in place throughout the Air Force. Air Force Instruction 33-332 governs the PII breach reporting process as well as the consequences for PII violations. (U.S. Air Force graphic illustration by William Parks.)
