U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Scott McCoy, 19th Air Support Operations Squadron first sergeant, paints historical markings on the C-47 with tail number 42-100828. The C-47, currently on display at Fort Campbell, Ky., is a significant part of the 101st Airborne Division's World War II history. The plane was involved in every major airborne and glider-borne assault in the European theater of operations.
