POW, those MIA not forgotten

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- A Holloman Airman stands vigil in front of the Prisoners of War/ Missing in Action Memorial at Heritage Park Sept. 29, 2011, as part of this year’s POW/MIA Recognition Day. Holloman’s Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources Base Airmen took turns standing at attention in front of the memorial in 30-minute increments for a total of 24 hours, while the eternal flame remained lit behind them, signifying continued remembrance and unwavering resolve for America's POWs and MIAs.
