A group of motorcycles are parked in a line March 23 outside Marine Corps Detachment-1 prior to a 317th Airlift Group sponsored motorcycle ride at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Participants included members from the Green Knights Chapter 63, a military motorcycle club specifically for Dyess Airmen, dependents, DoD civilians and retirees. Riders received safety inspections, briefs and participated in a 40-minute ride. The ride highlighted the practical application of proper safety gear, defensive riding and riding through different types of terrain.
