OZARK, Ala. -- Brig. Gen. Anthony Crutchfield, U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence commanding general, gives his opening remarks at a memorial service Jan. 22 for 1st Lt. Robert Franklin Dees, a 430th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 474th Fighter Bomber Group F-84E Thunderjet fighter pilot, whose aircraft was shot down over North Korea in 1952 on a combat mission.
