OZARK, Ala. -- Tech. Sgt Troy Kiick, Honor Guard noncommissioned officer from Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., renders a salute to the casket of 1st Lt. Robert Franklin Dees, while other members of the Honor Guard remove the flag from the casket Jan. 22. The Honor Guard from Eglin AFB provided their support during the memorial service held for Lieutenant Dees, a 430th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 474th Fighter Bomber Group Thunderjet F-84E fighter pilot, whose aircraft was shot down over North Korea in 1952 during a combat mission.
