MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- Airman 1st Class Gary Simmons Jr., 23rd Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, dons a self contained breathing apparatus mask Nov. 22. The 23rd CES fire department located at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., contributed to the squadron winning the 2010 Society of American Military Engineers Curtin Award for best small unit in Air Combat Command.
